Children are the future – and we are committed to this. For this reason, we have entered into a partnership with the non-profit organization “Mon Coeur, ein Band für Bildung E.V.”, which supports children from socially disadvantaged families.
Moving into life stronger
Her latest project, the “Inspiration Hub”, is an after-school program aimed at children in South Africa aged between ten and 14. The aim is to help them with their homework after school and keep them off the streets. It also aims to give them a long-term vision of how they can grow up to be positive role models in their communities. Through projects and workshops, they learn to ask the right questions and face life challenges with confidence.
The right food
As no child can learn when their stomach is rumbling and the food available often weakens rather than strengthens the children, it is particularly important to the educators and teachers at the Inspiration Hub to raise children’s awareness of good food. Background: An apple costs €0.80 in South Africa, a bag of potato chips €0.05. If money is tight, the apple loses out.
