On September 20, 2025, the Congresshalle Saarbrücken became a place where sport, community and social commitment came together in a special way. Organized by inne® – a brand of mom’s garden GmbH – the “Unser Herz schlägt Ping Pong” event was all about exercise, health and supporting children and young people.
Strong together for the next generation
The event focused on supporting two important initiatives. On the one hand, the event supported the youth work of 1. FC Saarbrücken table tennis, whose youth department relies on financial help to sustainably promote young talent. Secondly, a large proportion of the proceeds went to the Inspire Land by Mon Coeur project, which gives children in Cape Town access to sport, creativity and personal development.
Thanks to the commitment of all participants, a total of 12,600 euros was raised – a strong sign of what a joint effort can achieve.
Sport that connects
A special highlight was the participation of the entire professional squad of 1. FC Saarbrücken table tennis. The players were not only on site, but actively involved in the event and competed together with guests in various challenges. Formats such as the “Serve Return Contest” or the “Rally for Inspire Land” generated enthusiasm and created an atmosphere in which professionals, children and visitors came together as equals.
Attention far beyond the region
The impact of the event reached far beyond Saarbrücken. More than two million people watched the event via international live streaming. This was an impressive demonstration of how much attention can be gained for topics such as children’s health, exercise and social commitment.
A strong signal from mom’s garden
For mom’s garden GmbH and its inne® brand, this event is more than just a single event. It symbolizes the claim to accompany children holistically – not only through high-quality products, but also through initiatives that promote community and open up new perspectives.
The bottom line: when sport brings people together and a common goal is pursued, real impact is created – especially when children are the focus.
