It is often many individual contributions that together can make a really big difference. This is exactly what our fundraising campaign for children in South Africa impressively demonstrated. As a brand of Mom’s Garden GmbH, it is a central concern for inne® to support projects that open up new perspectives for children. When commitment, team spirit and a shared idea come together, the result is real change.
An event with special significance
As part of our inne® event “Our heart beats ping pong”, a special initiative was launched together with 1. FC Saarbrücken table tennis. Supported by top international players such as Patrick Franziska and Fan Zhendong as well as the entire team, a donation of 10,000 euros was raised.
A result that has an impact far beyond the moment.
Concrete help that arrives
Today, we can see what this fundraising campaign has made possible for children in South Africa. In Cape Town, the so-called Inspire Land has been further developed – a place where children are not only cared for, but also given real opportunities for their future.
An important component is the newly created gardens, where children learn about healthy eating through play. At the same time, they help to provide around 100 children with meals every day.
A table tennis arena has also been created – a place for exercise, community and fun. Equipped with tables, bats and balls, it offers space for sporting activity and at the same time strengthens togetherness. This was realized in close cooperation with 1. FC Saarbrücken table tennis.
Sport as an opportunity for development
This project shows how much potential there is in combining sport and social commitment. Exercise not only promotes physical health, but also strengthens self-confidence, community and perspectives.
Such offers are particularly valuable for children, as they enable development on several levels at the same time.
